The Second National Conference on Interdisciplinary Research on Translation Studies, aimed at exchanging knowledge in the interdisciplinary fields of translation, is being organized by the English Department of the University of Birjand. This conference will be held on 21 and 22 October 2025 at University of Birjand, and those interested may participate either in person or online.

This year’s conference seeks to provide a forum for researchers, faculty members, students, and professionals in translation studies to present and exchange new ideas on various translation topics, including cultural, social, linguistic areas and emerging technologies. The conference is a valuable opportunity to learn about the latest research and scientific achievements in the field of translation and will significantly contribute to expanding knowledge boundaries and fostering interaction among different disciplines. In addition, the event offers a suitable platform for creating and strengthening scientific and professional connections among researchers and practitioners in the translation field.

Although the conference welcomes submissions from all interdisciplinary areas related to translation, the following topics are given higher priority:
